Privacy Policy of Busnet

Busnet has created a platform to facilitate daily transportation services for employees of companies, organizations, and factories. To achieve this goal and provide high-quality services, Busnet needs to collect, process, and share certain personal and location-related information. To maintain transparency and inform users about these processes, this User Privacy Policy has been prepared and includes the following:

1- What Information Is Collected?

Busnet users, including passengers and drivers, directly provide certain information during registration. To enable drivers to provide services and passengers to receive them, some information is entered by users into the application, while other information is collected from their mobile devices. Details of this information are provided below:

Information Provided by Users

Passenger Account

The following information is collected during registration: First and last name, Mobile phone number, National ID number. (This information may have already been registered by the company or organization where the individual is employed.)

Driver Account

The following information is required during registration: First and last name, Mobile phone number, National ID number, Driver photograph, National ID card image, Driver's license image, Vehicle information including license plate, vehicle type, vehicle registration card, unique insurance code, and VIN code. All of the above are mandatory. Additionally, images of the driver's health certificate and smart vehicle card may also be collected, but these are optional.

Information regarding passengers' chosen pick-up and drop-off locations.

Banking Information

Drivers' banking information, including their IBAN number, is collected for financial services and payments.

Information Stored When Using the Service

Location Information

With the user's permission, Busnet collects and uses: User location data, Service start time, Driver departure time, Estimated travel duration to the destination, Driver location information during service delivery.

Financial Transactions

Financial information related to each service provided by drivers is stored for payment settlement purposes.

Mobile Device Information

The following device-related information is stored: Application version, Device model.

2- How Is the Information Used?

The information collected through the Busnet application is used for the following purposes:

Providing, maintaining, and improving services

Facilitating communication between passengers and drivers

·

Delivering customer support when needed

·

Ensuring travel safety and security, including user authentication, driver background checks, vehicle health and insurance verification

Communicating with passengers and drivers regarding notifications, service quality control, complaint handling, and similar matters

·

Personalizing services, including providing user-specific offers

·

Complying with legal requirements and directives issued by regulatory and governmental authorities

3- How Long Is Information Retained?

User information is retained as long as the user account remains active within the application. Records of completed services and all financial transactions are retained for at least 10 years to comply with national financial regulations. If a user requests account deletion, Busnet will process the request according to its account deletion procedures.

4- What Information Is Shared?

To protect user privacy while complying with applicable laws and regulations, the company uses and safeguards collected data as follows:

Identity Verification

Information collected during registration (including driver, passenger, and vehicle details) is used solely for user identity verification and enabling access to services. The company commits to using this data only within the scope of providing its services.

Service Operations

During service delivery, relevant information may be shared between drivers and passengers to coordinate matters such as pick-up locations, pick-up times, and other service-related arrangements.

Legal Proceedings

If judicial or administrative authorities lawfully request user information, the company is legally obligated to disclose the requested information to those authorities.

5- Users' Rights Regarding Their Information

Busnet provides mechanisms that allow users to manage, edit, and request deletion of their accounts in accordance with applicable laws and procedures.

Personal Information Updates: Users may update their first and last name and phone number.

Vehicle Information Updates: Users may request changes to vehicle information. Such changes will be applied after review and approval by Busnet experts.

Profile Photo Updates: Users may change their profile picture.

·

Banking Information Updates: Users may update their IBAN number.

·

Account Logout: Users may log out of their account at any time.

6- Legal Basis and Policy Updates

This document is based on the Electronic Commerce Law of Iran (approved in 2003 / 1382) and the User Privacy Improvement Guidelines issued by the National Center for Cyberspace (approved in January 2024 / Dey 1402). If any changes are made to these policies or conditions, users will be notified within the application at least two months before the changes take effect. This document was last revised in August 2024 (Mordad 1403).
